Plan the lesson
Give teachers a clear learning goal, lesson structure and the materials to teach it.
DUMA builds affordable schools around two things that have to work together: children making progress and a well-run business that can keep serving them.
A teaching playbook is useful only when teachers use it well. Our approach connects lesson preparation, practice, assessment and coaching into a repeating cycle.

Give teachers a clear learning goal, lesson structure and the materials to teach it.
Explain, question and practise. Use our digital exercises and written learning materials to help children build specific skills.
Assess what children can do and where they are getting stuck. Use their answers to decide what needs more attention.
Observe teaching, give specific feedback and practise improvements with the teacher. Bring what we learn into the next lesson.
Reading and mathematics matter. So does the ability to explain an idea, lead a team and create something. These are the capabilities our academic model is designed to develop.
Read, write and express an idea clearly. Learn to give reasons, listen and present work.
Build fluency in mathematics and science. Ask questions, explain reasoning and solve problems.
Take responsibility, work with others and see a task through.
Turn ideas into projects. Use design, digital tools and AI to make, test and improve something.
Reflection & Demo connects the studios: children review their work, improve it and present what they have learned.
DUMA combines AI-assisted teaching, proprietary digital tools and written learning programmes. Together, they support the work of teachers and give children more ways to practise, understand and create.

Our approach brings AI into lesson preparation, learning activities and feedback. Children also learn to use AI in projects: asking questions, evaluating answers and improving what they make.
Our tools are designed to work alongside different curricula. Schools can strengthen practice and feedback without replacing their whole academic programme.
Lesson guides, written explanations, exercises and project activities give teachers a structured starting point. Digital tools complement these materials as part of a complete teaching approach.
Affordability has to be built into the operation. We standardise recurring work so resources can go towards teaching and the school experience.
Structured interviews and clear teaching expectations help us select teachers. Coaching continues after hiring, with school leaders responsible for following up.
The operating playbook and ERP organise collections, costs, approvals and reporting. Owners need to see the school’s financial position and act on it.
Lesson resources, learning products, hiring methods and operating routines can support multiple campuses. Local teams adapt delivery to their pupils and community.
DUMA combines academic leadership, business building and software engineering. Our founders have led major education businesses and built systems at Revolut. They bring that experience to physical schools.
